Garlic and Herb Baked Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets, about 6 ounces each
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped dill, salt, and pepper.
  3. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, remove it from the heat, and stir in the garlic and herb mixture.
  4. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish, skin-side down.
  5. Pour the garlic and herb butter over the salmon fillets, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake the salmon in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until it’s cooked through.
  7. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve the salmon hot, garnished with lemon wedges.
